Extended Schools

An Extended School is one that works with local organisations to offer access to:

Out of School Hours activities
Childcare before and after school and during the holidays
Specialist Support Services
Family and Parenting Support and opportunities for you to work with your child
Community access to sports, arts and ICT facilities

West Sussex schools are developing Extended Schools Services. Some schools already offer many of these services or provide information on where the services can be found.
