Newsletters and Communications

It is with great regret that the school has decided not to include newsletters on the website as information from school newsletters has been published by local papers without consulting the relevant  school.  As our newsletters may contain information about individuals the school does not wish to publish such details.

Newsletters and other letters to parents will be sent out through ParentMail and we ask all parents to register for this service. This also gives parents access to an archive of the communications which we have sent out.   Parents who do not have access to the internet can receive paper copies.

Contact details provided on our Pupil Admission Forms are added to our ParentMail system and parents will then receive an email asking them to verify their details.  Parents must verify their account before they can open emails from us.

Communicating with parents is an important part of what we do, making sure you get the correct information about activities, events and things that really matter is something we care about.

The school uses ParentMail, a service used by over 6,000 schools, nurseries and children’s clubs to communicate to parents. ParentMail is beneficial to parents because:

  • Messages will get to you reliably and on time.
  • We can send messages directly to mums, dads and other carers at the same time.
  • we can send urgent messages as a text (SMS) message
  • Forms and Permissions can now be completed electronically and submitted back to school.
  • iPhone and Android Apps available for parents on the go.  The use of these Apps is the best way for parents to use ParentMail as messages are available immediately and you do not need to login to retrieve them.
  • Book Parents’ Evening appointments online with ease.
If you have any problems when registering or using the system please contact the school office.
